Objectives

1. To promote awareness among the doctors of Indian origin about the current regulations and other statutory provisions affecting their working conditions and well being

2. To undertake activities that enhances the skills and knowledge of the doctors for improving their professional contribution to the field of medicine in general and NHS in particular

3. To assist in making appropriate arrangements for representation at the Industrial Tribunals and other law courts for seeking redress grievances

4. To raise petition to appropriate law agencies and employers to encourage implementation of good practices in recruitment and career progression process

5. To support and offer guidance to the doctors of Indian origin facing hardship due to unemployment or uncertainty in their career

6. To offer where appropriate any financial assistance to individual or individuals towards securing legal or other representation at the hearing during employment disputes.
